Sources of Funding
The funding of the Centre comes from several sources. First, the Faculty provides some financial support for the day to day operation. Secondly, the academic members of the Centre obtain both internal and external research grants. Thirdly, the Centre will seek donations or charitable contributions both locally and internationally.
The activities of the Centre are to benefit Hong Kong, China, and the international legal community. To organize international, regional, and cross-board conferences on Chinese law and carry out academic exchanges with other academic institutions regionally and internationally, the Centre for Chinese Law strongly welcomes donations or charitable contributions both locally and internationally.
Nomination after the name of the donor for a significant amount is available for the following:
1. The Centre for Chinese Law;
2. A Conference Series;
3. A Visiting Professor Scheme; and
4. A Visiting Scholar Scheme.
