This Guide was prepared by Andrew Byrnes (former Director of the Centre) and Robyn Emerton in the context of the LLM (Human Rights) programme at the University of Hong Kong. It is therefore aimed primarily at assisting law students and others based in Hong Kong in researching human rights issues.  The Guide should also be useful to anyone conducting human rights research from other countries, particularly those with access to law libraries and/or the world-wide web.
