Raees, currently the Manager of the Centre for Social Impact under the Hong Kong Council of Social Service and has been working for a local human rights organisation previously, specialises in race equality and social policy development. Obtained her doctorate degree from the University of Hong Kong in 2010, her thesis has been focused on political participation of ethnic minorities in Hong Kong.
Being active in promoting race equality and human right, she serves as the member of the Committee on the Promotion of Racial Harmony under the HKSAR Government; and also as board members for the Hong Kong Unison and the Amnesty International Hong Kong Section.
