Andrew worked on a range of migration issues in Viet Nam, Cambodia, and Jordan between 2004 and 2009 as an officer with the International Organization for Migration (IOM). In particular, he managed projects addressing issues of human trafficking and international marriage migration. He worked closely with the Vietnamese government to improve the return and reintegration process for trafficked persons, as well as to provide accurate information to Vietnamese women marrying foreigners via commercially arranged practice. He is currently completing dual-masters’ degrees from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore.
