Vanessa MacDonnell is an Assistant Professor at the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law. She joined the Faculty in 2010 and teaches Foundations of Law, Comparative Constitutional Law, Criminal Law and Evidence. Professor MacDonnell received her LL.M. from Harvard Law School and a J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. Prior to commencing graduate studies she served as a law clerk to Madam Justice Louise Charron at the Supreme Court of Canada. Her research interests are focussed on comparative constitutional law and criminal law.
