Meital Pinto is a faculty member at the Carmel Academic Center in Haifa, Faculty of Law. Meital has an S.J.D. (2009) and an LL.M. (2005) from the faculty of law, University of Toronto. Prior to her graduate studies Meital served as a law clerk to Justice Asher Grunis of the Israeli Supreme Court. Meital teaches in the areas of jurisprudence and constitutional law. Her current research projects include work on language rights, religious freedom, and theories of equality. Her recent publications appear in the The Canadian Journal of Law and Jurisprudence and the Oxford Journal of Legal Studies.
