Rowena Anthea Azada-Palacios is an instructor of philosophy at the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines. She received her master’s degree in philosophy from the Ateneo de Manila and a Postgraduate Certificate in Citizenship and History Education from the University of London International Programme. Before joining the Ateneo faculty, she worked as a journalist for the Philippine public affairs television show, “The Probe Team”. Her research interests include political philosophy, business ethics, and citizenship education. Her current research is on conceptions of citizenship and national identity in Philippine civics education.
