Associate Professor Kelvin Low was born in Singapore. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the National University of Law in 1999 and attended Brasenose College, Oxford thereafter, obtaining his BCL degree in 2002. Mr. Low joined the Faculty in January 2005, after having taught at the National University of Singapore.
His current research interests lie broadly in the field of private law, with a focus on contract, equity and trusts, and land law. He has published internationally in journals such as Law Quarterly Review, Lloyd's Maritime & Commercial Law Quarterly, Restitution Law Review, Journal of Contract Law, Legal Studies, Conveyancer & Property Lawyer and Melbourne University Law Review. He is the author of "Sale of Land" in Law Relating to Specific Contracts in Singapore (Sweet & Maxwell Asia: 2008) and also co-author of the upcoming 3rd edition of Tan Sook Yee's Principles of Singapore Land Law (LexisNexis: 2009, forthcoming).
He currently serves on the editorial board of the Hong Kong Law Journal, having previously served on the board of the Singapore Journal of Legal Studies and as founding deputy editor of the Singapore Year Book of International Law.
