The Law and Technology Centre is hosting our second Symposium on Personal Data and Privacy to explore the various and novel legal issues surrounding the protection of personal data and the intersection between surveillance and privacy, privacy issues and the Internet.
The event is sponsored by Privacy International, UK and IDRC, Canada. This symposium will feature three panel presentations, a luncheon, and a keynote address delivered by Mr. Allan Chiang, the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data in Hong Kong. Distinguished speakers come from Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Mainland, Canada, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Full programme can be viewed here.
