Puja Kapai

Puja Kapai began her career at the Hong Kong Bar in 2002 and practiced as a barrister for some time before joining the Law Faculty at HKU as Senior Teaching Assistant to commence her career in academia. She has recently been appointed as an Assistant professor with the Faculty.

Miss Kapai is currently teaching the subjects of the Legal System of Hong Kong, Contract Law and Legal Research and Writing, Law and Society.

Her areas of interest include international human rights law, the dynamics between human rights, religion and culture, human rights and ethnicity, women and human rights, constitutional law, constitutionalism, international law, international humanitarian intervention and the use of force in international law. She also takes an active interest in HKU’s participation in international mooting competitions by coaching team members with their oral and written preparations.
