Biography
Vicci Lau obtained her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Law degrees from the University of Cambridge, before that, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer Economics from Cornell University. She was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong and England and Wales. Before joining the University, Vicci practised as a solicitor in the Capital Markets department of a leading international law firm in Hong Kong, and then she joined a leading investment bank in Hong Kong as a derivatives transaction lawyer.
Vicci joined the Department of Law in 2012 and the Department of Professional Legal Education in 2015. She will mainly be teaching Corporate & Commercial Transactions, Drafting Commercial Agreements and Listed Companies for the PCLL programme.
Vicci received the Faculty’s Outstanding Teaching Award in 2017 and is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (AdvanceHE).
