Kevin Lau (BBA (Law) 2014; PCLL) and Victor Lui (Govt (Law) 2014, PCLL) have been awarded the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Scholarship.

The Scholarship supports Victor and Kevin as they both pursue Master of Law degrees at the University of Cambridge commencing in October 2015. This scholarship, awarded by the HKSAR government annually to Hong Kong students undertaking overseas postgraduate studies, recognizes students’ academic and extra-curricular achievements. “It is also an important token of encouragement in my pursuit of becoming a barrister. I shall endeavour to deepen my understanding of the law, and I hope to return to Hong Kong after my master studies to contribute to the society”, said Victor. Meanwhile, for Kevin, the scholarship is “a reminder to keep myself open-minded and accepting of new experiences, which I will surely find in abundance at Cambridge. I am very thankful for this chance to broaden my horizons. Hopefully I will have new ideas and learn new techniques to pursue my dream of broadening legal education in Hong Kong.”
