John Chun Man Lee
John Lee is a part-time doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Law of The University of Hong Kong. He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with first class honours and Juris Doctor degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Professionally, he is an experienced compliance practitioner who has worked with a number of international law firms, serving as their in-house advisor on different professional conduct issues and internal risk management matters. Currently, he leads and manages the risk and compliance function for the Asia Pacific region at a leading global law firm. In addition, he is an adjunct associate professor of law at The University of Hong Kong, responsible for designing and running L.L.M. courses on financial crime compliance, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing, the first of its kind being delivered at a postgraduate level in Hong Kong. He is a certified anti-money laundering specialist as well as a fellow and external examiner of the International Compliance Association.
