Herbert Aclan LOJA

Mr. Herbert Aclan Loja currently reads the Doctor of Philosophy (Public International Law) under the supervision of Professor Simon N.M. Young at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) – Faculty of Law. He earned his Master of Laws in Human Rights with Distinction degree at HKU in 2013 on a Söhmen Human Rights Scholarships for 2012/13 and received the Anna Wu Prize in Human Rights for most outstanding academic performance and the Winston Chu & Company Prize in Law for best dissertation.  He was a graduate research trainee under the supervision of Professor Brian F. Havel at the Institute of Air & Space Law at McGill University – Faculty of Law. His published articles appear in the Journal of Territorial and Maritime Studies, Asia-Pacific Journal on Human Rights and the Law, Hong Kong Journal of Legal Studies, and Ateneo Law Journal and his first blog at the HKU Legal Scholarship Blog.
