Jane Alexandra Richards
My doctoral research focuses on the equality rights of persons with mental disabilities in the criminal justice system. I am especially interested in the notion of responsibility, both in the criminal law context and more broadly. I am a passionate believer in the equality and dignity of all people and aim to produce high impact scholarship in furtherance of the inclusion of all.
I am a host on New Books in Law, a channel on the New Books Network, for which I have the privilege of interviewing leading global scholars on all issues relating to human rights.
I am a proud mum of three gorgeous children, a wife, and spend my spare time running.
