Ritam ARORA

Ms. Ritam Arora is a Ph.D candidate in the area of Competition Law. Her current research examines the antitrust issues on online platforms, which are equipped with big-data and work as intermediators between two-sided (or multisided) markets.

Before beginning her Ph.D, she has served as an Assistant Professor (Competition Law) at the School of Law, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES),Dehradun, India. Prior to which, as part of her work placement, she was associated with the Legal Projects Team of International Bar Association, London, UK.

Ritam holds a First-Class Honours (Distinction) degree in Law from India and a specialised Master of Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), UK. For her academic excellence, she has received several awards.

She is an avid reader and writer. She has published a range of articles on various aspects of Competition Law. She has presented her research at various national and international forums including University of Leeds, United Kingdom, 14th Asian Law and Economics Association (AsLEA), Singapore, Higher School of Economics, National Research University, Moscow, Russia amongst others.
