Sifan JIANG
Jiang Sifan (Yolanda) is a first-year MPhil student in the field of property law and socio-legal studies. Before entering the MPhil program, she obtained LLB (2013-2017) and LLM in Chinese Law (2017-2018) from the University of Hong Kong and worked as research assistant for a year whose main duty was to conduct fieldwork in Shanghai. She passed the PRC National Judicial Exam in 2018.
Her main research interests lie in Law and Society, Property Law and Family Law. Her current research project looks into the transformation of Chinese matrimonial property regime and examines its relationship with the rapid socio-economic development in contemporary China.
