Biography
陳華利是香港大學法律學院與計算機科學系共同領導的LITE Lab@HKU項目行政總監。LITE Lab@HKU是旨在促進法律、創新、技術和創業的全新跨學科和體驗項目。陳華利經常受邀就其在法律與創新、資本市場、監管科技、法律科技、人工智能治理、虛擬資產和未來技能等領域的實踐和研究領域發表國際演講。他和他的作品最近出現在 CNBC 的學習曲線系列和 Diana Wu《Future Proof: Reinventing Work In the Age of Acceleration》(2019)一書中。
陳華利是香港金融科技協會監管科技委員會的聯合主席,共同創立了亞太監管科技網絡,並擔任電機電子工程師學會(IEEE)自主化智慧系統倫理全球倡議的政策委員會委員、香港大學金融科技指數顧問委員會委員,以及亞太地區法律創新與技術協會(ALITA)指導委員會委員。
陳華利是 ACMI 和 Young Makers & ChangeMakers 的創辦人,並結合 Global Legal Hackathon 組織了香港第一個法律科技和監管科技黑客馬拉松,以及結合 Computational Law & Blockchain Festival 聯合組織了智能法律合約挑戰。他曾受邀擔任Bizkathon@HKUST 2019、MIT Entrepreneurship & Fintech Integrator 2019、Ocean Park x HKU Hackathon 2019、iDendron Incubation Programme、香港律師會Innotech Law Hackathon 和Fintech SuperCharger 的導師,以及 Barclays DerivHack 2019,WSJ Financial Inclusion Challenge Awards 和 Microsoft ImagineHack 2017的評委。他還是區塊鏈孵化器Helix Accelerator的講師。
陳華利是混合學習的忠實支持者,他是亞洲首個在全球擁有超過 40,000名學習者的金融科技MOOC on edX首席講師,為香港大學的區塊鍊和金融科技 MOOC 以及香港金融分析師協會為關於資本市場和監管科技的影片系列製作作出貢獻。
陳華利曾在全球投資銀行瑞信(香港)、紐約和加利福尼亞的Sullivan & Cromwell 律師事務所及澳大利亞珀斯的Mallesons律師事務所工作近 20 年,在那裡他為一些世界上最大和首創的金融服務者提供關於技術資本市場和併購交易、項目債券和小額信貸的諮詢。在瑞信主管亞太地區業務(不包括澳大利亞和日本),陳華利參與了幾乎所有亞洲司法管轄區的IPO,一些具有里程碑意義的交易包括中國電信(NYSE/HKEx)、中國工商銀行 (HKEx/SSE)、俄鋁(HKEx/Euronext Paris)和嘉能可(LSE/HKEx)的雙重上市;阿里巴巴私有化;並帶領跨學科團隊建立和管理中國最早的合資投資銀行。他曾任瑞信香港慈善委員會聯席主席、瑞信旗下亞太小額信貸倡導者主席,並被選為其全球公民計劃中一員。他還是香港企業法律顧問協會和紐約州律師協會外國法委員會的執行委員會成員。
