許 文恩

香港特別行政區高等法院大律師 

Biography

許文恩大律師是香港大學「法學專業證書課程」的首席講師，於 2004 年 8 月加入法律專業學系。他是「民事訟辯」、「人身傷亡」的課程統籌，亦教授「專業實踐及管理」，曾擔任課程改革前「訴訟專修」的課程統籌。  

許大律師於 1996 年在香港取得大律師資格，一直在事務所執業，主理知識產權糾紛、人身傷亡、一般民事及商業個案。許大律師曾於各類法庭中包括高等法院、版權審裁處及商標註冊處，代表客戶在重大知識產權案件中訴訟，經驗豐富。 

 許大律師於 2012 年 7 月獲任命為區域法院暫委法官，並被法律評級機構《法律500強》(Legal 500) 認可為知識產權案件中的領先大律師。  

許大律師自2015年，出任香港法律改革委員會轄下的「人身傷害個案按期支付未來金錢損失賠款」小組委員會成員，亦是《律商聯訊》實務摘要——《人身傷害爭議解決組》（LexisNexis）《 Practical Guidance——Dispute Resolution Personal Injury Section》的編委會顧問。  

許大律師曾於多個時期，出任大律師公會執行委員會委員，包括2007 年至 2009 年、2014年至2017年、2018 年至 2019 年及2022 年。許大律師亦擔任公會的「人身傷亡專業委員會」委員、「知識產權專業委員會」委員、「執業大律師持續進修常委會」委員。  

許大律師是（Butterworths）在2022年出版的《霍爾斯伯里香港法律大全》關於《出版》書章 (Halsbury’s Laws of Hong Kong, the Chapter on《Publication》)的編輯，亦為（湯森路透香港有限公司）（Thomas Reuters Hong Kong Limited）出版的《Commercial Litigation in Hong Kong: A Practical Guide》（2012 年第 1版、2017年第2版）中第 4 章《 Anton Piller Orders, Delivery Up of Goods & Search Orders 》的合著者。  

許大律師自2020年起，亦為《律商聯訊》出版的（LexisNexis）《Professional Conduct of Lawyers in Hong Kong》的合著者，亦是（Butterworths）在2001 年出版的《霍爾斯伯里香港法律大全》(Halsbury’s Laws of Hong Kong) 第 22 卷中第 3 章 《Remedies ,Damages》的合著者。

Research Profile

Teaching

Norman joined the Department of the Professional Legal Education in August 2004 as a Teaching Consultant. He teaches Civil Advocacy, Civil Procedure, Professional Practice, Conveyancing (Litigation Stream), Probate (Litigation Stream) and coordinates the Litigation Stream.

Norman received his education in Canada save for his legal studies which were in Hong Kong. He was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 1996 and continues to practice in the areas of intellectual property, personal injuries and general commercial litigation.
