Biography
孫皓琛專長研究知識產權、技術法和中國法。他廣泛的跨學科研究涉及法律和科技的多個前沿領域,包括人工智能創作的法律地位、專利藥品和疫苗的獲取、知識產權所有者的責任以及奢侈品牌的商標保護。在他最近的研究項目中,他正在開發一種新的方法來監管社交媒體算法,並重新思考中國知識產權制度所發生的史詩般的變革。
孫皓琛的專著《Technology and the Public Interest》,於2022年由劍橋大學出版社出版,提出了一種新的理論方法,以保護科技權利和強制科技公司承擔基本責任。他還參與了五部編輯的專著,每部都提出了知識產權和科技法的新研究領域。例如,《The Luxury Economy and Intellectual Property》(牛津大學出版社,2015年)率先研究了奢侈品知識產權保護,《Intellectual Property, COVID-19, and the Next Pandemic: Diagnosing Problems, Developing Cures》(劍橋大學出版社,預計2023年出版)介紹了在COVID-19大流行期間關於知識產權的經驗教訓,並提出了為更好地為下一次大流行做好準備而重新調整知識產權的建議。
