Biography
刘庄，香港大学法律学院副教授。北京大学学士、硕士、博士，芝加哥大学博士。主要研究领域为经济法、中国司法制度、法律数据分析。著有《机器能取代法官吗？人工智能、数据科学与法律》（北京大学出版社2024年）一书。在相关领域国内外权威期刊（包括Journal of Legal Studies, Journal of Legal Analysis, American Journal of Comparative Law, China Quarterly, Journal of Contemporary China）发表论文三十余篇；论文被《人大复印报刊资料》《中国社会科学文摘》《高等学校文科学术文摘》等转载。主持承担多个国家科技研发项目，包括科技部国家重点研发计划项目、国家自然科学基金项目。曾任芝加哥大学法学院客座副教授、弗吉尼亚大学法学院客座副教授，教授“人工智能、数据科学与法律”（Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Law）等课程。参与和主持深圳市大数据研究院法律数据研发工作。
