Biography

Jason Y. Ng is an Adjunct Associate Professor in international securities law for the Master of Laws (LL.M.) programme.

Ng is a capital markets specialist and was a regional product head at a global investment bank for 12 years. He has over 20 years of experience in a full range of equity and debt transactions, including SEC registered, 144 A and Regulation S offerings.

Prior to his in-house role, Ng was a securities lawyer at the New York and Hong Kong offices of one of the Largest Wall Street law firms advising clients on NYSE, Nasdaq and HKEx IPOs, high yield and investment grade bond offerings, global and Euro medium term note programmes, liability management tender and exchange offers, *34 Act reporting obligations, and OFAC, FCPA and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Ng’s interest goes beyond securities law. He is the bestselling author of several books about Hong Kong and contributed to the South China Morning Post. TimeOut and other publications. His short stories have appeared in various anthologies.

Ng has a Juris Doctor and an M.B.A. from the University of Toronto and a joint Finance/Engineering degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is admitted to the New York and Massachusetts Bars.
