Biography
楊艾文教授是香港大學法律學院副院長(研究)兼科研誠信教育及推廣副主任。他擔任《Asia-Pacific Journal on Human Rights and the Law》(Brill)的聯合主編和 《Archbold Hong Kong》(Sweet & Maxwell)的總編輯。
楊教授的實證和比較法研究探討了香港憲制秩序的重要元素,包括國家安全法、終審法院、行政長官選舉制度和立法會功能組別。他還撰寫了關於刑事訴訟程序人權方面以及使用民事訴訟程序實現刑法目標的文章,特別是洗黑錢和犯罪所得之領域。
楊艾文教授是Parkside Chambers的執業大律師。他主要處理刑事和公法案件。他曾在香港參與培訓警察和檢控人員,並領導檢控科的持續法律教育計劃(2011-14、2016-17)和在廉政公署的總調查主任指揮課程(2017-2019)以及香港警察學院偵緝訓練中心 (2017)授課。
他的公共服務包括世界貿易組織《政府採購協定》下的投標投訴審裁組織(2012-2017)、監管釋囚委員會(2008-2014)和香港會計師公會紀律小組A的成員(2011-2020)。他亦是香港法律改革委員會轄下關於一罪兩審(2006-2011)、刑事法律程序中的傳聞證據(2001-2009)和獨立監察警方處理投訴委員會觀察員計劃(2010-2012)小組委員會的成員。
在加入香港大學之前,楊艾文教授曾在多倫多的安大略省律政廳刑事檢控辦事處擔任上訴律師 。在此之前,他在安大略省漢密爾頓擔任助理檢控官。

Professor Young has taught Criminal Law I & II and Evidence in the Faculty’s JD programme. He co-teaches a LLM course on Transnational Criminal Law and previously the LLM course Rights and Remedies in the Criminal Process.
