Biography
陳秀慧教授的研究範圍包括憲法法律和理論、行政法和人權。她曾就比例原則、司法遷就、國家安全和權利、法律與威權主義、法律多元主義、次國家憲法主義以及中國與香港憲法關係等議題撰寫論文。她目前正在撰寫一本有關人權裁決中遷就方法的專著,以及一個關於非自由國家中自由區域的項目。
陳博士曾獲得多項研究獎項,包括2012年度英國法律學者協會最佳論文獎、2013年度香港研究資助局青年學者獎、2013年度大學研究成果獎、2017年度傑出青年研究員獎,以及2021年度首屆Rosie Young 90傑出女性學者獎章。2017年,她與Fiona de Londras(伯明翰大學)獲得了英國學術院/ Leverhulme小型研究資助。
陳博士被香港大學資助委員會任命為2020年研究評估工作(RAE)的法律評估小組成員。她是國際公法學會的一般委員、Public Law、Asian Journal of Comparative Law、Hong Kong Law Journal、Asia-Pacific Journal on Human Rights and the Law和Revista de Investigações Constitucionais(憲法研究期刊)的編輯委員會成員,以及International Journal of Constitutional Law、Hart Studies in Constitutional Theory Series和Springer系列的現代中國民商法的諮詢委員會成員。
