About the Talk:
Rumors of the demise of international law and the “rules based” international order are currently circulating with intensity. However, the history of international law is one of set-backs and breakthroughs, ruptures and regeneration. Furthermore, by a range of metrics international law is (still) at its peak. This talk will explore the organic evolution, current opportunities, pathways and future vistas for the international community to actively mature and engage with the international legal order and its progressive development — for the prosperity and stability of all.
