Sihao CHEN

Sihao Chen is a first-year PhD student at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) Faculty of Law. His research focuses on the relationship between shareholders and directors, with a particular interest in applying economic analysis of law. Sihao Chen holds an LLM in Corporate Law from University College London (UCL) and an LLB (Hons) from the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), where he developed a strong foundation in corporate governance.

Before starting his PhD journey, Sihao Chen gained experience as a Research Assistant at UCL, deepening his passion for corporate governance. He is particularly interested in exploring the differences between agency and stewardship theories.

Outside academia, Sihao Chen enjoys playing the piano, which helps him maintain a well-rounded and balanced life. He is excited and deeply committed to being part of the HKU community. He looks forward to significantly contributing to the Faculty of Law through rigorous research and collaboration with fellow scholars.
