Biography
盧偉正博士在澳大利亞接受教育，畢業於悉尼大學。在加入香港大學法律系之前，他是律政司的副首席政府律師，領導民事部門的團隊，負責就公司法改革向政府提供建議。在此之前，他曾在悉尼以律師和大律師的身份從事法律工作，也曾在香港城市大學法學院以助理教授的身份教授法律。
盧偉正博士專門研究公司法和破產法。他在律政司參與法律改革超過10年，主要為《公司條例》的重寫、《公司破產法》的改進工作和《法定企業拯救程序》提供咨詢。除了在政府法律改革方面的工作外，盧博士還在公司法領域進行了廣泛的研究和寫作。研究重點之一是公司責任，特別是包括公司控製人（董事和控股股東）在公司不法行為方面的義務和責任。他在該領域的出版物包括《In Search of Corporate Accountability: Liabilities of Corporate Participants》（Cambridge Scholars出版社，2015年）。他還是《Law of Companies in Hong Kong》第三版的作者（Sweet and Maxwell出版社，2018年），並且是《Company Law in Hong Kong – Vol 1 Practice Procedure》和 《Company Law in Hong Kong Vol 2 Insolvency》（Sweet and Maxwell出版社），以及《Hong Kong Company Law – Legislation and Commentary 》（LexisNexis出版社）的總編輯。
