簡介
Alec Stone Sweet 教授專研比較與國際政治、比較與國際法、國際仲裁和人權等領域。在加入香港大學之前，他是新加坡國立大學蘇瑞福百年紀念教授，並在耶魯大學法學院和牛津大學納菲爾德學院擔任講座教授。他還曾在哥倫比亞法學院以及普羅旺斯地區艾克斯、博洛尼亞、佛羅倫斯、香港、萊頓、馬德里、米蘭、巴黎、桑提尼克坦、斯德哥爾摩、悉尼和維也納的大學擔任訪問職務。
Alec Stone Sweet 教授出版了 13 本書，其中 11 本書由牛津大學出版社出版，包括最新的：《The Law and Politics of International Human Rights Courts: The Dilemma of Effectiveness》（2024 年）；《Proportionality Balancing and Constitutional Governance: A Comparative and Global Approach》（2019 年）；《A Cosmopolitan Legal Order: Kant, Constitutional Justice, and the European Convention on Human Rights》（2018 年）；和《The Evolution of International Arbitration: Judicialization, Governance, Legitimacy》（2017 年）。他目前的出版項目是對區域人權法院作比較分析。作為各美國法律評論的定期撰稿人，他還在同行評審的期刊上發表了文章，包括《American Journal of Sociology》、《American Political Science Review》、《Asian Journal of Comparative Law》、《Comparative Political Studies》、《European Journal of International Law》、《German Law Journal》、《Governance》、《International Journal of Comparative Constitutional Law》、 《Journal of Common Market Studies》、《Journal of Global Constitutionalism》、《Journal of European Public Policy》、《Journal of Law and Courts》和《West European Politics》。
