Dr Yang Lin
Research Officer
Dr Yang Lin is a Research Officer at the Faculty of Law, The University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on digital governance and regulation, cross-border data law, and technology and dispute resolution, with particular emphasis on Mainland China, Hong Kong, and the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area. He holds a PhD in Law from HKU and an LLM from SOAS University of London.
In addition to his research, Dr Lin contributes to the Faculty’s development through programme design, cross-border collaboration, academic events, student mentoring, and career development initiatives. He also contributes to the Faculty’s communications and external engagement. His recent research has appeared in the Journal of Intellectual Property Law & Practice, the Journal of Comparative Law, and Amicus Curiae. He is also a co-editor of Administrative Justice in China: Institutional Conflicts and Governance Transformation (Talbot Publishing, 2026).
