Biography

Tracy is a Solicitor qualified to practise in Hong Kong and England & Wales, and an Accredited Mediator. She was formerly a Partner at Kennedys, an international law firm in Hong Kong, where she advised on healthcare law matters and litigation, professional-misconduct disciplinary proceedings, and commercial disputes. She also played an active role in the recruitment, mentoring and continuing professional development of trainee solicitors and solicitors.

Building on these interests, Tracy has focused on professional legal education, training and research, while maintaining her practice as a Consultant Solicitor, since 2020. Before joining HKU, she taught, coordinated and designed postgraduate and professional legal education courses at universities and for clients in Hong Kong and the UK.

Tracy’s teaching and research interests centre on developing practical legal skills and artificial intelligence (AI) literacy. She is committed to equipping students with the confidence and capabilities to deliver creative, effective and client-focused legal solutions. She also serves in honorary legal advisory roles with medical associations and a public health education and promotion charity.
