Biography
SK obtained her BA in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford and her Master of International and Public Affairs (MIPA) from the University of Hong Kong. She is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and in Hong Kong.
Prior to joining the Faculty of Law, SK had over 20 years of experience in the public sector. She had served as legal adviser, trade delegate, policy-maker and in senior management positions within the Hong Kong SAR Government, focusing on public international law, human rights, constitutional development, general legal policy and intellectual property. Her last position in the Government was Deputy Solicitor General (Policy Affairs), Department of Justice (March 2018 to February 2021).
