Are there any scholarships / prizes for students in the Faculty of Law?

 

Every year HKU offers hundreds of scholarship to support current students to realize their potential and goals during their studies at the University.  There are scholarships for recognizing academic merit; for supporting students to join experiential learning or exchange programmes; for supporting student development initiatives; for supporting financially disadvantaged students; and many more.  You can apply for scholarships which are advertised via emails and on the HKU Portal. 

In addition to University scholarships, there are scholarships administered by the Faculty for only law students, with various purposes and selection criterion.  Applications would be invited via email.

There are 33 prizes available in the Faculty of Law.  Most of them are subject prizes meaning that students who achieved the best performance in particular courses would be nominated for prizes automatically. For prizes with otherwise selection criterion, applications would be invited via email.
