LLM in IT & IP Law

The Master of Laws in Information Technology & Intellectual Property programme aims to provide students with a sound understanding of innovation and technology-related phenomena that have transformed our ways of thinking and approaching law, and to develop students’ ability to investigate contemporary legal issues.

HKU’s LLM Programme in Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law is designed for students with law degrees or for IP or IT professionals with relevant legal experience who wish to undertake an in-depth study of the law, policies and cutting edge issues in their fields.

This programme provides a comprehensive combination of theoretical, practical and policy-oriented courses that enable candidates to understand the legal challenges in IP, patents, Internet and other technological innovation. Another feature of the programme is its coverage on local, mainland China, international and comparative courses, which are taught by leading experts or practitioners in the fields.
