Our Building
Cheng Yu Tung Tower opened in 2012 as the first standalone building on campus for the Faculty of Law since its establishment in 1969, marking a new chapter in the development of the Faculty. Designed to facilitate collaboration, the Tower includes a Mooting Chamber, an Academic Conference Room, Advocacy Laboratories, Research Centres and Institutes, Research Student Study Centres, the Clinical Legal Education Centre, and common rooms for students’ associations.
Cheng Yu Tung Tower was made possible with a generous benefaction from Dr Cheng Yu-Tung and his family through the Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation. It signifies an abiding commitment to the education of the future guardians of justice and the rule of law, and a vote of confidence in the Faculty.
