Edmond Lam

Edmond graduated from the University of Manchester in the UK with B.A. (Law & Accounting) Hons in 1984. He was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 1987 and in England and Wales in 1991.

Edmond founded his own firm, Chan Wong & Lam, solicitors, with two other partners, in 1991. He is a part-time consultant of this firm now. During his practice as a solicitor, Edmond has gained wide experience in handling contractual, commercial and company disputes, contentious conveyancing litigation, contentious probate litigation, matrimonial and personal injuries cases.

Edmond was a part-time tutor in Civil Procedure for the Department of Professional Legal Education for three academic semesters in 2004 to 2006. Edmond joined the Faculty of Law as a full-time teaching consultant in August 2010. He is the course coordinator of the Clinical Legal Education course and also a tutor in Civil Litigation in the Department of Professional Legal Education.
