Biography
Education
Jacky obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree (majoring in Accounting) at Macquarie University, Australia. He then completed the Juris Doctor, the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws and the Master of Laws (Arbitration and Dispute Resolution) programmes at the University of Hong Kong. He also holds the Master of Laws (Criminology and Criminal Justice) awarded by the University of London and the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Professional and Vocational Education) awarded by the Education University of Hong Kong.
Teaching
Prior to joining the Faculty of Law as Lecturer in 2018, he was a teaching assistant in the then School of Business of the University of Hong Kong teaching undergraduate courses in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Business Law and Company Law. He also served as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Law and taught courses in Evidence and Business Associations. Currently, he is responsible for teaching Criminal Law and Evidence courses.
Legal Practice
Jacky was called to the Bar of Hong Kong in 2016 and is currently a door tenant of Droit Chambers. He receives instructions on both civil and criminal matters.
