Biography

Julienne Jen, LLB & LLM (London), PCLL (HKU), is a solicitor admitted in the High Court of Hong Kong and the Supreme Court of England and Wales.  Prior to joining the University, Julienne practised as a solicitor in the litigation department of an international law firm in Hong Kong.   She joined the Faculty in September 2004 and mainly teaches and coordinates the Civil Litigation, Professional Practice and Management and Commercial Dispute Resolution courses.   She also leads the Faculty’s experiential learning courses and represents the Faculty at the HKU Law Alumni Association. 

Julienne received the University’s Outstanding Teaching Award in 2019, the Faculty’s Outstanding Teaching Award in 2014 and is a Senior Fellow of AdvanceHE.  Julienne is interested in exploring different methods of experiential learning in her teaching and is dedicated to teaching practical lawyering skills to her students.
