Artificial intelligence is poised to become the fourth industrial revolution, fundamentally changing the way we live, work, and learn. In this seminar, Dr. Benjamin Liu will introduce some recent artificial intelligence developments, followed by a discussion on the potential legal and policy issues associated with artificial intelligence.

Dr. Benjamin Liu is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland, Department of Commercial Law. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Dalian Maritime University, Bachelor of Law (Hons) from the University of Auckland, and Doctor of Philosophy (Law) also from the University of Auckland. Before joining the University, Benjamin worked at international law firms and a leading European bank, specialising in financial derivatives and structured products. He is admitted to practise in New Zealand, England and Wales.
