內容簡介：

深描中國法律的實施，需要理解中國的政法體制。在現有條件約束下，如何進入政法的田野，怎樣在田野中發現問題，如何將現實問題提煉成學術命題。這些是在中國做法律經驗研究遇到的基本難題。區別於已有偏重宏大敘述的政法研究，基於田野調查基礎上的政法研究將聚焦於具體罪名、案由的討論。但是，在研究視角上是整體論觀察，追求以小見大和舉一反三，從而實現經驗法社會學（法社會科學）個案研究的一般化。

講者：

侯猛，中國人民大學法學院教授、法律與社會跨學科研究中心主任、《法律和社會科學》主編、教育部青年長江學者，曾掛職、研修於最高人民法院研究室、政治部。主要研究領域為政法研究、法的社會科學。 出版專著《法社會科學：研究傳統與知識體系》《司法的運作過程》，主編《法社會科學研究方法指南》《法學的11種可能》，合譯《法律與人類學手冊》。
