Mindfulness practices are increasingly receiving attention worldwide across multiple disciplines, including the legal field. This lecture focuses on a model of mindful-reflexive practice and Lonergan’s 4 plus-levels generative structure of knowing and acting. This method – “Intentionality Analysis” (I.A.) – helps us, among other things, to “mind the gap” between human self-awareness and A.I.
This lecture is not confined to the Speaker’s own world of legal practice. The Speaker hopes that the insights shared will encourage professionals to reflect “in” as well as “on” their own practice, and will facilitate mindful-reflexive engagement with and the wise and ethical use of A.I.
