About the Speaker:
Cameron Sim is an International Counsel in the International Dispute Resolution Group at Debevoise & Plimpton. He specializes in commercial and investment treaty arbitration. He is admitted in Hong Kong, New York, England & Wales, and Australia.

 

Mr. Sim is the author of Emergency Arbitration (Oxford University Press 2021), published as part of the Oxford International Arbitration Series. This is the first work of its kind. It has been reviewed as a “first-class book” and “an indispensable guide”, which “contribute[s] substantially to the efficient and cost-effective conduct of arbitral proceedings”.

 

Mr. Sim graduated with first class degrees in law from the University of Melbourne (BA/LLB), and the University of Oxford (BCL), where he pursued his Masters study as an Allan Myers scholar. Subsequently, Mr. Sim clerked for the President of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom and in the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council.
