Daisy Cheung and Alwin Chan join the Faculty

Daisy Cheung joined the Faculty as Assistant Professor in September 2015. Having graduated from Amherst College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Daisy then obtained her LLB with first class honours from the University of Hong Kong. She went on to read for the BCL at the University of Oxford. Prior to joining the Faculty, she trained with Clifford Chance in Hong Kong. Daisy currently teaches LLB Contract Law, in addition to LLB/JD/LLM electives in medico-legal issues.

Alwin Chan joins the Faculty as Lecturer in the Department of Professional Legal Education after has taught for the Faculty on a part-time basis for 5 years.  Alwin has taught a range of courses, including Property Litigation, Land Law, Personal Injuries, Civil Litigation, and Civil Advocacy. On a number of these courses he has assisted in course design and assessment students. After having completed his studies at HKU (LLB & PCLL) and the London School of Economics (LLM), he completed his training at a leading international firm. He was called to the Bar in 2005 and has since practised in Alan Leong SC’s Chambers. His practice encompasses land disputes, personal injuries, and general commercial disputes. Alwin currently teaches Civil Litigation, Property Litigation, Land Law, Personal Injuries, Civil Advocacy, and Professional Practice.
