Franklin KOO
Franklin Koo is a Doctor of Legal Science (SJD) candidate at the University of Hong Kong. His doctoral research focuses on the legitimacy of international commercial arbitration.
He is a qualified solicitor in Hong Kong with experience in both private practice and the judiciary, including as a Judicial Assistant at the Court of Final Appeal and as a Judicial Associate at the High Court.
Franklin is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators (FHKIArb) and serves on the arbitrator panel of the Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC). He is also an accredited mediator with CEDR and HKMAAL, and was a project contributor to the ICCA Research Group on Arbitrator Immunity and former HK45 committee member.
