Franklin KOO
Franklin is a qualified lawyer in Hong Kong with extensive experience in both the private and public sectors. He has worked within the judiciary as a Judicial Assistant at the Court of Final Appeal and as a Judicial Associate at the High Court, handling cases in both the Court of Appeal and the Court of First Instance.
Active in the arbitration community, Franklin serves on the HK45 committee, which supports young arbitration practitioners under the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC). He is also a member of the panel of arbitrators at the AALCO Hong Kong Regional Arbitration Centre.
As an accredited mediator with CEDR and HKMAAL, Franklin has made contributions to dispute resolution through his involvement with the Judiciary’s Integrated Mediation Office and the Lands Tribunal.
Beyond dispute resolution, Franklin has conducted research on the Hong Kong jury system, which has received recognition and citations in various legal journals and publications, further establishing his expertise in legal research.
