Ying XUE
Xue Ying is a Ph.D. student specializing in intellectual property and technology law at the HKU Faculty of Law. She holds an LL.M. in intellectual property law and an LL.B., both from Peking University Law School.
Under the supervision of Professor Haochen Sun, her research delves into the intersection of emerging technologies and legal frameworks. Her doctoral thesis focuses on the patentability of AI-generated inventions and the evolving doctrine of Fair Use in the age of generative AI.
