Adams Bodomo is associate professor of Linguistics and Director of the African Studies Programme at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). Dr Bodomo has done pioneering work on 21st Century Africa-China studies, with a particular focus on the formation of an African Diaspora in China and on the documentation and revitalization of indigenous and minority languages and cultures of Africa and China. His most recent research writings in this area have appeared in journals such as China Quarterly, International Journal of African Renaissance Studies, and the Journal of Diaspora, Indigenous, and Minority Education.
